How Does OMT Help?
Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment, or OMT, is a hands-on form of medical care used to diagnose and treat problems involving bones, joints, muscles, nerves, and connective tissue.
Treatment is individualized and guided by a detailed physical examination. Techniques may include gentle stretching, joint mobilization, soft tissue work, and other precise manual treatments designed to improve how the body moves and functions.
Using carefully applied techniques, OMT can help:
Improve joint mobility
Reduce muscle tension
Support circulation and healing
Restore more balanced movement patterns
