Payment Policy

Direct Pay Model

Harris Osteopathic Sports Medicine operates as a direct-pay (fee-for-service) medical practice. This means the practice does not bill or participate with insurance companies. Instead, patients pay directly for their visit at the time of service.

This model allows care to focus on what matters most: time, thoughtful evaluation, and skilled hands-on treatment. This eliminates the constraints and time limits often imposed by insurance billing.

For many patients, this approach allows visits to be more thorough, more personalized, and centered on identifying the root cause of pain or injury, rather than simply addressing symptoms.

Accepted Forms of Payment

We accept the following forms of payment:

  • Credit cards

  • Debit cards

  • Health Savings Account (HSA) cards

  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards

  • Zelle

  • Venmo

Please note:

  • Harris Osteopathic Sports Medicine does not submit insurance claims

  • We do not communicate with insurance companies on behalf of patients

  • Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends entirely on the patient’s individual insurance plan

Patients interested in reimbursement are encouraged to contact their insurance provider to understand their out-of-network benefits.

Medicare and Medicaid

Due to federal regulations, services provided by this practice cannot be submitted to Medicare or Medicaid for reimbursement.

Superbill Insurance Reimbursement

Although the practice does not bill insurance, patients with private insurance may request a superbill after their visit.

This document contains the information some insurance companies require for patients to seek reimbursement independently.
